INGREDIENTS: 8 full teaspoons of green tea 2 cups boiling water 2 cups water 11/4 cups granulated sugar 1/4 cup dark corn syrup 1. 2 tablespoons lemon juice Place tea in a teapot. 2. Pour boiling water over the tea, cover teapot and brew for 5 minutes. 3. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups water and sugar to a boil. 4. Boil for 1 minute. Remove pan from heat and stir in the green tea, corn syrup and lemon juice. 5. Pour into a non-reactive bowl. Cover and refrigerate until well-chilled, about 1 hour. 6. Process in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's instructions. Makes about 1 quart.
